But I don’t care if you are 6’ 5” or have blue eyes. Trust funds are optional.
What I do care about is if you love everything IT infrastructure. This role is joining an elite systems team in an organisation essentially the Wall Street equivalent of high-frequency trading, minus the red suspenders and power ties. It is a completely flat structure, so you’ll handle everything from networking, servers, and application services, to designing, implementing, and supporting state-of-the-art infrastructure with a focus on automation. Start with day-to-day system administration and end-user support, then dive into big projects.
You’ll have graduated with a technical degree, and have worked in financial environments before – whether that is through a year in industry, or from starting your post-academic career. You will be comfortable in Linux-centric environments, including dabbling in AWS, Ansible and Terraform. You’ll still be keen to get involved in support as and when but also have a passion for security, compliance, and networking.
This in-office role is based in the heart of the city, with the chance for occasional travel including to NYC. If you thrive in a fast-paced, data-driven environment, I’m looking want you!
Apply now and be the systems engineer this team deserves, and the one it needs right now.
