Senior Software Developer

You will join a rapidly growing business that converges enterprise networking and security into one centralized and global service delivered by cloud, who are looking for a Software Developer to join their newly formed London based team. Responsible for building their next generation platforms.

You will work on high impact backend systems that support new products and customers, shaping how the platform will evolve as the business continues on its progression. The role is hands on with real ownership, from designing, coding and seeing your work deployed and operating at scale.

The work you’ll do spans large scale data processing, APIs and customer facing functionality, alongside distributed services responsible for collecting, aggregating and analysing high volumes of data. You will solve problems in performance, reliability and security whilst working on modern cloud native architecture. You’ll further collaborate with product, research, automation and engineering teams to turn new ideas into production ready solutions. You’ll also have the freedom to explore new technologies and influence the way systems are designed and built across the wider platform.

You will bring 6+ years of backend development experience using Java, Go, Spring Boot, Play Framework or similar technologies. You’ll have strong experience with relational and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB or Redis, alongside a proven track record of building and operating high scale, production grade SaaS applications.

You’ll further bring a strong understanding of system design, software engineering principles and scalability, as well as experience building secure enterprise systems. Hands-on experience with CI pipelines, service level testing and monitoring is important, while React and TypeScript experience would be a bonus.
