You enjoy designing and building clean, automated systems that scale.
This role offers the opportunity to build the foundation for a new generation of AI platforms. You will join a small, senior team of engineers responsible for developing the core infrastructure of a tech company operating at the intersection of software, data, and real-world industries. They use their technical prowess, data and artificial intelligence to drive meaningful changes to their customers.
Your focus will be on designing and evolving cloud environments in Azure, building and managing infrastructure as code with Terraform, and developing automation and tooling in Python or Go. You will work closely with Kubernetes (AKS) to deploy and manage workloads efficiently, while maintaining high standards of security and reliability. You’re as comfortable writing code as you are spinning up a cluster, using engineering principles to solve problems.
This environment is ideal for engineers who think in systems, understand how things work under the hood, and enjoy solving infrastructure challenges that demand precision and creativity. You will collaborate directly with product and AI teams, helping to define how scalable infrastructure enables innovation.
You will be joining a technically ambitious company where autonomy, craft, and engineering excellence are valued above hierarchy or bureaucracy. The position is based in London with flexible hybrid working, the teams get together every fortnight for a couple of days to collaborate on specific problems they are facing and some face to face interaction too.
