When you think of containers your heart rate picks up. You are consumed by how you can scale them, manage them and run them.
Automatically, you jump straight to K8s; you know how to build them, deploy them and run them in a production environment. In addition, you know how to troubleshoot them, using the experience you have gained to ensure the clusters are effective in scaling, resource optimisation and remain highly available.
Maybe you have started implementing service mesh solutions to take that orchestration to another level. Administering Istio to allow for a more advanced control of microservices or streamlined application deployments with Helm Charts. If not, then you can get that exposure here, with training courses there to back up your practical exposure.
Experience wise, you have a strong understanding and background in Linux operating systems and have made the jump up into the Cloud. You provision infrastructure on premise and in AWS cloud with Terraform, you see pipelines in your sleep and are confident in building them from scratch in your tool of choice.
Apart from dealing with the minutiae of Kubernetes, you’ll join a high functioning remote, collaborative team working on projects that will impact the future. Bleeding edge technology and a culture that is there to support you - ensuring that you become the best. You’ll be able to take any certifications that will benefit you as a platform engineer and the company will foot the bill. No several hundred pounds cost for you.
If you want to turn your K8s obsession into your day job, reach out for more details, no CV required for an initial chat.
