This university is leading the way with its research and needs Linux specialists like yourself to come in and facilitate this research from a technical standpoint. The university is looking to further its position as a pinnacle for research by doubling its existing System Administration team.
With the techstack being one of the most advanced in the industry, you will gain experience with DevOps tools that are a novelty for the sector putting you in a strong position for the future.
You will be working on administration and maintaining infrastructure and will also use your strong linux background to aid the researchers in transforming their plans.You will also respond to any alerts to keep the system in the most stable position to be able support its demands.
With your experience in high performance computing (not required, training can be provided), you will be working on high performance storage and data management. All of this will provide the bridge between the researchers ideas and reality.
