Science waits for no one… but with you, it could run a lot faster.
High-performance computing is the engine behind today’s biggest academic discoveries, from modelling climate change to advancing medical science. Now you can play a key role in building and supporting the systems that make this possible.
In this role, you’ll design, implement, and manage HPC clusters, advanced storage solutions, and hybrid cloud platforms. You’ll be at the cutting edge of academic research infrastructure, ensuring scientists have the tools they need to explore new frontiers.
As part of this greenfield project, you’ll also bring modern DevOps practices into the HPC world; leveraging AWS for cloud integration, CI/CD pipelines for reliable deployments, and Kubernetes for container orchestration. Shaping a flexible, future-proof environment for research.
Your skills with HPC systems, Linux administration, and parallel storage (GPFS/Spectrum Scale, Lustre, or similar) will be invaluable. You’ll work closely with researchers to integrate instruments, streamline data workflows, and share best practices, all while helping colleagues navigate complex computing challenges with confidence.
This is a unique opportunity to mentor, innovate, and collaborate with talented teams across IT and academia. The systems you build will directly accelerate discoveries, turning ambitious research questions into real-world breakthroughs.
Join us and bring your energy, expertise, and curiosity to a role where HPC truly makes a difference. The research community is moving fast; help us move it faster.
