Join a team that shapes the Linux graphics ecosystem. Solving some of the industry's most complex technical challenges, contributing directly to major open source projects and working in a culture where engineers have the freedom, trust and support to do their best work. With a fully remote culture, flexible working and a strong commitment to technical excellence, this role offers an environment where engineers can build both their expertise and their reputation
This is an opportunity to work on technology that reaches millions of users. You'll contribute directly to Vulkan drivers, Mesa and the Linux DRM subsystem, tackling everything from GPU hangs and rendering corruption to new feature development and hardware enablement. You need to understand the Kernel, and be comfortable navigating kernel code. The work is deeply technical, highly visible and focused on upstream contribution, giving you the chance to make a lasting impact on the wider Linux and graphics community.
Ideally, you have strong knowledge of C/C++ and Vulkan experience, a solid understanding of Linux systems, and an interest in how modern GPUs work. Experience with Mesa, DRM, graphics drivers or kernel development is highly desirable, but equally important is the ability to navigate complex codebases, solve difficult problems and learn quickly in unfamiliar technical domains.
For engineers who enjoy working in a low-level environment, open source collaboration and solving problems that others cannot, this role offers a rare combination of technical depth, real-world impact and long-term career growth. If you want to work on challenging technology alongside some of the most respected engineers in the field, this is an opportunity to be part of something genuinely influential.
