Most security roles ask you to protect a product.
This one asks you to protect the systems that run some of the world's largest organisations.
We're partnering with a rapidly growing AI company that is transforming how enterprises interact with their most critical technology. Their platform operates deep inside environments that underpin finance, supply chains, manufacturing and operations for global businesses. As adoption accelerates, security isn't a supporting function; it's becoming one of the defining challenges of the company.
That's where you come in.
As one of the first dedicated security hires, you'll have the opportunity to shape security from first principles. You'll work directly with founders and engineers to design the architecture, challenge assumptions, identify weaknesses before anyone else finds them, and build a security culture that scales alongside the product.
What makes this role particularly interesting is the nature of the problems you'll be solving. The platform combines modern AI systems with some of the most complex enterprise environments in existence. Questions around identity, privilege, trust boundaries and agent behaviour aren't theoretical discussions here—they're real engineering challenges that need solving today.
You'll spend as much time thinking like an attacker as you do an architect. One day you might be exploring whether an AI agent can be manipulated into exceeding its intended permissions. The next, you'll be designing controls that prevent privilege escalation across interconnected enterprise systems, or working with customers to understand how the platform fits within some of the most sophisticated security programmes in the world.
This isn't a role focused on maintaining policies or chasing compliance checklists. Those foundations matter, but they're only the starting point. The real opportunity is helping define what security looks like when AI systems are trusted to take action inside business-critical environments.
You'll be joining a highly technical, ambitious team with the backing, customers and momentum to build something category-defining. Security already has a seat at the table, but this is your chance to become the person who sets the direction.
For the right engineer, this is the kind of role that comes along rarely: a chance to own security end-to-end, tackle genuinely novel problems, work alongside exceptional people, and build meaningful equity in a company at a pivotal stage of growth.
If you're excited by difficult security challenges, emerging attack surfaces, and the opportunity to leave a lasting mark on a product that sits at the intersection of AI and enterprise software, we'd love to hear from you.
