DevOps Engineer

Continuous integration and deployment are common in DevOps and this team are bringing that to business; with their platform allowing easier visualisation of organisation and planning to make sure it is always improving.

You’ll bring this mindset into the platform team, overseeing the full design, development and automation of the products available. Continuously improving the integration and deployments, by collaborating across the security, infrastructure and product teams. Day to day you will create and maintain infrastructure, with Terraform, across the AWS estate. You will ensure that pre and production environments are highly available and performing correctly for Devs, QAs and DBAs.

You’ll strategise to optimise infrastructure, collaborating with technical architects guaranteeing improvements across security, scalability and monitoring. As a proactive engineer you will address security risks across the AWS estate, spotting and solving risks before they cause issues.

Your experience is within a containerised and highly available clustered environment, with good knowledge of the services within AWS. Ideally you have some exposure to programming, language here is not a concern, the principles of programming are key, the syntax can be learnt. A security focused mind, with knowledge of encryption, security and IAM, particularly in the AWS cloud are also important.
