DevSecOps Engineer (remote in the UK)

Permanent  |  £80000 - £90000 per annum  |  Europe

Infrastructure  •  DevOps  •  Security  •  Cloud

We are on the lookout for an SRE with a keen interest in security.

This company have been full steam ahead with their growth, achieving funding targets in record times and creating a lot of buzz around their product in the process.

You will sit within platform engineering team, working closesly with the other SRE's, however you will be the go to person for everything Security related. You will have experience securing all aspects of Cloud Native infrastructure from Cloud and Containers to CI/CD and QA.

Your understanding of security will be such that you can champion nest practices internally and have a solid understanding of shift left and its importance in the Software Delivery Process.

Coming at this from a different angle is encouraged and you may have started life in security and moved into DevOps or even been a SysAdmin back in the day, discovering your love for security later in life.

You will however, have an in-depth knowledge of Cloud (GCP preferred but AWS is fine) and be able to build complex cloud environments using Terraform as well as know your way around code (Golang or Python.)

You will need to be approachable, humble, self-reflective and above all else passionate about delivering complex solutions through unity and teamwork. Question yourself, question others, challenge ideas and don't shy away from voicing your opinion - there unique engineering culture encourages them all.

Basic. Benefits. Remote in the UK.
