LONG TERM SCOPE

Building out microservices on AWS as part of a smart and Humble team of "DevOps" advocates.

Long term contract opportunity within a highly respected organisation in central London. This smart and humble team are searching for an able Platform Engineer to join a growing them during their journey which has a clear path and roadmap putlined to build and deply new microservices across their Infrastructure which handles extremely high "real-time" volumes.

You must have solid experience around continuous integration and continuous delivery complimented by configuration management with Puppet or Ansible. However, they do value aptitude and attitude over specific tools experience as long as you are willing to learn and adapt to certain chosen tech which you will also have influence on.

The key requirements for this role are:

• Linux (Centos ideally)
• Puppet (ansible, Chef or Salt also considered)
• Terraform

Beneficial:

• Hashicorp tools (Vault, Packer, consul etc).

The role will see you building a microservice architecture to replace the legacy systems. You will be designing, building and maintaining the client's most critical systems, ensuring they're reliable, secure, fast and scalable.
