As a Software Developer with extensive PHP knowledge this is your opportunity to join a highly reputable, specialised IT company based out of Gloucester.

You'll join one of three skilled development teams, reporting directly to the Tech Lead, focused on building out state of the art technical products for their long list of award winning clients.

You're knowledge of PHP will be essential to this role and you'll need to have a good few years of commercial knowledge. Ideally, you'll also have experience building end-to-end products, from start to finish. Understanding the full SDLC and how platfroms are built from the ground up.

Whilst you'll focus mainly on PHP and back-end development, the team is collaborative and open. You'll have the opportunity to work across the stack and upskill in new technologies such as JavaScript, TypeScript, Vue & Git as well as areas like testing, cloud infrastructure and security.

You'll also be involved in decisions around system architecture, roadmapping and R & D. Plus, you'll be expected to do some mentoring with less experienced engineers when necessary.
