Cloud Migration Architect

Permanent  |  £75000 - £135000 per annum + All your usual benefits  |  Greater London  |  London

Linux  •  DevOps  •  Cloud

Take this as an opportunity to utilise all of your cloud experience you've accumulated over the past few years. You'll be apart of some of the most innovative public sector cloud migrations alongside helping some huge private sector companies with their cloud migration and architecture.

So, what skillset do you possess?

Cloud platforms are booming. You've already built a career around AWS, although GCP and Azure are of equal interest. I know you've already picked up your cloud accreditations but this is a company who will give you a platform to grow. The training budget is huge and there is no red tape. You want it? Ask for it (and you're highly likely to get it)

Moving workloads from on premise into the cloud is your bread & butter, and if you've got experience moving cloud-to-cloud, even better. This means that the phases of a cloud migration are built into your DNA.The size of migration also helps, bigger the better. Lets not forget Kubernetes, it's all the talk nowadays and you're an expert orchestrator of containers.

Who will you be working for?

They're valued at over a £1billion. Big number, right?

Correct, but with over 1500 employees around the world, they haven't grown to this size via a method of hiring and firing. There's a clear path of progression. This statement gets banded about a lot, but their CEO started as a software engineer. A quick scan on their LinkedIn suggests the average employee tenure is way above the average.

They have picked up some of the most interesting projects within the public sector and aim to continue this trend around the UK.

Which leads me nicely onto flexibility. This role requires you to be able to travel the UK. In return, you'll be offered one of the best salary packages in the industry alongside 2 days remote working every week.

Monday and Friday. Working at home. Guaranteed. Not the worst way to start the weekend.
