JavaScript Developer - eCommerce Giant - London

Permanent  |  £50000 - £80000 per annum + Benefits + WFH/Flexi-time  |  Greater London  |  London

Front End Development  •  Back End Development

You're likely an experienced JavaScript engineer looking to join a modern technical environment to design and build greenfield JavaScript components with like-minded technologists.

If yes, one of the UK's largest eCommerce companies would be interested in speaking to you.

You will bring your knowledge of JavaScript technologies to build greenfield applications across web, mobile and desktop. Working closely with fellow developers, SME's, testers and designers you will use technology to automate tasks, simplify work-flows and create new JavaScript components to enhance the user experience.

Experience of AWS and/or cloud-based environments will be helpful but not a deal-breaker. The team values good knowledge of general computer science and as long as you're a curious and passionate techie, the opportunity for you to learn and expand your skill set is definitely there.

The tech stack:

  • JavaScript - React, Redux, Typescript, Node, Webpack
  • AWS, Kubernetes, Docker (None mandatory - an interest is beneficial!)

What you will likely bring to the table:

  • Strong knowledge of JavaScript and associated technologies
  • A passionate technologist always looking to improve
  • Autonomous and self-organising
  • A team-player who values input from all
  • Ideally a STEM education or equivalent commercial experience
