A lover of Linux, automation, containers, bare metal environment? Well, this is the right role for you...
This is a rare opportunity to join a company that’s disrupting London’s fibre network from the ground up. They’re quietly transforming how data moves across the city, laying brand new infrastructure designed specifically for data-heavy businesses that demand speed, reliability, and scale. Recognised as one of the best places to work in recent years, the company prides itself on a collaborative, supportive culture where smart, driven people can truly thrive. If you're looking to be part of something ambitious, impactful, and built to last, this is the place to be!
You'll be joining as a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to play a key role in the design, deployment, and ongoing operation of their core systems. You’ll be responsible for maintaining a mix of hypervisors, VMs, containers, and bare-metal environments, while also building out automation, monitoring, and tooling to keep systems scalable, secure, and reliable.
To be suitable, you’ll need solid experience with Linux/Unix systems (RedHat or Debian based), scripting in either Bash, powershell but ideally Python, as well as familiarity with Windows environments. You should also be confident working with virtualisation and container orchestration platforms, and experienced in building and managing monitoring and observability stacks like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK. While also good with configuration management tools like Ansible or Puppet, if that sounds like you then you're in the right place.
If you're someone who takes pride in doing things properly and enjoys owning complex technical challenges, this could be the perfect next step. Apply below to learn more or drop me an email on ethan.farrell@linuxrecruit.co.uk
