Forget "DevOps" as a buzzword. Here, it's central to how the business operates. They're not looking for just another engineer, but a Technical Lead who can play a pivotal role within their specialist platform engineering team.
They need a heavy hitting Tech Lead to bridge the gap between high level architectural strategy and elite level, hands on engineering.
This is a role for the engineer who has outgrown "Senior" and is ready to act as the Technical North Star for some of the most ambitious cloud native projects in the UK.
Don't think it's just a "management only" desk job. They need a leader who still loves the keyboard but has the vision to steer a high performing team.
- Architectural Authority: You won't just follow the roadmap; you’ll help draw it. You will define the long-term strategy for resilient, hybrid cloud Kubernetes environments.
- Hands on Mastery: From writing complex Helm charts to extending Terraform modules, you’ll be the go-to technical expert for the engineering team.
- Engineering Impact: You'll be working within a highly skilled engineering team, ensuring the platforms you build are secure, scalable and designed to help developers deliver efficiently.
The ideal Engineer thinks in clusters, containers, and code. You’re a systems thinker who spots a weak point before it breaks and automates a solution before it becomes urgent.
- Scale Experts: You have battle tested experience scaling Kubernetes and a deep love for clean Infrastructure as Code.
- Technical Mentors: You enjoy the Lead aspect of a role, pairing with engineers, conducting high level reviews, and fostering a culture of technical excellence.
- Purpose Driven Builders: You understand that the best platforms are those that get out of the way and let developers win.
What makes this opportunity unique is the level of investment this company pours into its people. They don't just hire talent; they cultivate it.
- Continued Development: They genuinely invest in their engineers, offering excellent training opportunities and support for professional certifications, including CKA, CKAD and advanced cloud qualifications.
- Engineering Culture: You'll be joining a team that values high engineering standards, collaboration and continuous improvement, working alongside experienced engineers who take pride in what they build.
