Lead Software Engineer

Low latency, 18,000 data points can hit the platform every single second. As each data point hits, a change might happen, your code must be clean and keep up with these changes or there will be unhappy customers.

You’ll be joining as a Lead Software Engineer, helping to grow out a new team to ensure that the company's products stay at the forefront of the market. Day to day you will code and this is a hands-on position. Backend focuses on Java with Spring which will be the primary focus, but big bonus points for experience with React. The wider environment is microservices, hosted on Kubernetes in Google Cloud with deployments through a Gitlab pipeline.

Designing software with a focus on event-driven architecture into a cloud native environment will be a key component of this role. Your experience will see you drive the team and it's a chance for you to set the standard and get the team working to them and delivering on the design and technical strategies that you have set. Your guidance and mentoring will see your team thrive, innovating alongside you to further the SaaS products on offer.
