IAM Architect

Authentication, Access, who can see what. This is critical in heavy data environments. Even more so when that data relates to personal information - you don’t want everyone in the company knowing about your most recent trip to the Doctors.

You would join to architect, build and maintain secure frameworks, across identity, access and privilege management. Different systems require different access. Systems vary across research, business systems and clinical with a wide variety of different requirements for each.You’ll have responsibility for the target state and build a roadmap across the suite of identity services.

At the forefront of your mind will be best practices and documentation, what you implement will be used internally and externally so needs to be easily understandable. That said, you should also be confident in explaining these things face to face (or Zoom screen to Zoom screen), highlighting the importance of correct procedure.

The company uses AWS as their cloud provider with some Linux still in play too. Okta is the tool of choice for all things IAM so experience here is a preference but other tools will be considered. Your work has encompassed standards e.g. SAML, OAuth or OpenID connect and you are confident working through these frameworks.
