In this era of rapid technological advancement, the question of how to harness the power of technology for the betterment of society has never been more critical. The intersection of innovation and societal impact is where our company thrives. As pioneers in processing large streams of street data, this company plays a pivotal role in transforming raw information into actionable insights that benefit a wide array of stakeholders, ranging from government agencies and the Blue-Light sector to private giants like Amazon.

This firm is on a mission to not only optimise business processes but also to contribute meaningfully to the well-being of society. As such, a DevOps Engineer is needed to develop, implement and support the services that facilitate efficient software delivery. In a role where you will be the bridge between the developers and infrastructure team, leveraging your Java development mindset and owning the build and deployment of CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins and Git. You will work in an OVHCloud environment and although experience is not absolutely necessary, it will be a welcome bonus. In addition, there is a fair amount of automation and so you will be writing Ansible playbooks, Salt State or Puppet manifests. Through knowledge transfer, you will also obtain knowledge in DevOps methodologies such as Terraform and Docker.

The work environment is emblematic of the modern workplace, embracing the remote-first ethos as you will have the flexibility to thrive in an environment that suits your individual needs. There are quarterly meetups in London which entail social events where you will be able to socialise with your colleagues. This is a role in which you will have a positive impact on society - as it is more than just simply selling data it is useful to help the country grow technologically speaking and the business provides critical aid to fire and rescue services. Not to mention that there is a very low staff turnover as employees tend to have long tenures due to the productive working environment and emphasis placed on your development.
