As a DevOps Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and supporting the technology stack used in the DevOps platforms. You will have the opportunity to review existing processes and design automation solutions to drive the platform to the next level. Your success in this position will depend on your ability to work with project teams to convert infrastructure concepts into automated solutions utilising the best tools and platforms. Additionally, security is a top priority, and you will take part in playing a vital role in ensuring that sensitive information is kept private and secure.

To be successfull in this role, you would be well-versed in Linux operating systems, having gained valuable experience through commercial exposure. You are proficient in scripting languages, including Python, Bash, Java, or C++, and have a working knowledge of automation tools such as Ansible, Chef, Puppet, or SaltStack. You will also have a strong understanding of the continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipeline process, and it would be advantageous if you have the ability to build one from scratch using Jenkins, Gitlab, or CircleCI.
