Cloud Platform Engineer/Manager

This is your chance to build and manage a Cloud Practice from the ground up at a Global Organisation.

This organisation has over 70 million customers worldwide and their databases compute over 500,000 transactions per second! The size, scale and complexity of their infrastructure makes it a really exciting place to be for Engineers with operations continuously expanding across the globe.

They are now looking to take their Infrastructure to the Cloud (GCP) to establish a seamless hybrid-model that can host their Global Operations.

You'll have the chance to come into the company with a blank canvas and build/manage everything from the ground up as part of their rapidly growing DevOps function. Initially, you will be focused on establishing and managing the team and processes, whilst advising on the organisational changes needed to support cloud adoption.

To be suitable, you should have significant Public Cloud exposure with experience of managing teams.

This is a hybrid role based in Manchester so relocation may be required if you are not in or around the Manchester area.
