AI Exchange July
AI Exchange July @ Snyk
Last week saw our return to Snyk’s Euston HQ for the second time, as the AI Exchange hosted its third event of the year, and once again, we were met with a full crowd and an lively atmosphere.
We heard from Altrum AI, Cambridge Consultants, and Snyk, each showcasing how they are pushing the boundaries of what is possible with artificial intelligence.
Kicking things off, Gurpreet Dhindsa (Altrum AI) explored the growing risks of generative AI and the gap between its rapid innovation and slower enterprise adoption. He outlined a four layer risk management framework, early pipeline checks, continuous validation, real time policy monitoring, and strict access controls to help enterprises scale AI safely.
Looking ahead, he predicted the rise of AI security as a dedicated field and a shift toward smaller, specialised models. The main message for his talk being: success in AI will come to those who move fast, but responsibly.
Sonya Moisset (Snyk) then discussed the concept of “vibe coding,” an AI driven development style where code is generated with minimal human review. Initiated by Andre Carpati in 2025, this approach offers speed and efficiency but raises major security concerns. The speaker outlined key risks and shared best practices for securing AI assisted workflows in this emerging coding model.
Finally, Frank Long (Cambridge Consultants) shared a strategic view on the rise of AI factories, systems built to scale and sustain powerful AI models. He discussed the evolution of LLMs from ChatGPT to today’s reasoning heavy models, emphasising the growing computational demands across training and deployment stages driving the AI revolution.
As always, a huge thank you to everyone who joined us for the event! Once again, we were at full capacity with a sold out crowd. Also a special thanks to Snyk for hosting us for the second time.
Finally, we have got a packed calendar ahead, with our next event taking place on 21st August at Octopus Legacy (part of the Octopus Group). We hope to see you there! Keep an eye on our Meetup page for future event announcements.
If you are interested in speaking, sponsoring or hosting a future event, please submit your details here.
See you all soon!
