London DevOps Exchange for All Day DevOps!
10/10/2018 DevOps Exchange Events
The DevOps Exchange have teamed up with our good friends over at London DevOps, to put on the very first London DevOps Exchange (who ever thought this would happen!).
Huge thanks to Kobalt Music for kindly hosting at their great offices in Cannon Street, next Wednesday the 17th.
*To attend this Meetup you must register on Eventbrite - https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/london-devops-exchange-tickets-51244796566*
The partnership has been born due to both communities being community sponsors for the All Day DevOps conference. All Day DevOps is a live online, streaming event, featuring over 120 speakers from around the world talking about their experiences implementing DevOps and DevSecOps within their companies. All sessions are practitioner led with a "No Vendor Pitches!" policy.
Highlights include keynotes by Cindy Healy, who was on the team for the Mars Pathfinder mission, David Rensin, founder of Customer Reliability Engineering (CRE) at Google, and George Swan, Director of Engineering Solutions at Autodesk.
We'll also be running a traditional Meetup, along with a viewing area for people wanting to watch All Day DevOps online. We'll be running our traditional 3 x 20 minute talks with refreshments and food.

Title: Leveraging Kubernetes for global scale at Babylon Health - by Eirik Albrigtsen and Branden Faulls
Synopsis: Running Kubernetes in production means drowning in a sea of YAML, and Helm only seems to add curly brackets to the madness. At Babylon Health, as we’ve scaled, we’ve built higher level automation tooling to drive and protect our deployments and keep our teams aligned, all using DSLs of awesome. Meet Shipcat and the other beasts onboard for our voyage around the world.
7:40pm: Marc Cluet @DevOpsGroup
The DevOps Journey - How To Get There Painlessly
Synopsis: In this presentation I’ll talk about my experience helping companies moving towards a DevOps and Agile approach, what are the most common problems, solutions and the over-arching journey covering everything from Engineering, planning to leadership.
We look forward to another great event!
