We’re excited to be partnering with a successful start-up who is now into the growth stage and looking for a talented Support Engineer to join them. The IT team has been doing everything, as they have grown, they are now looking for a Support Specialist who can push the Support to another level, taking full responsibility for redesigning and implementing support processes to add maximum value for the teams you’ll be supporting.

With your expertise, you’ll evaluate the technology and infrastructure being used for the support and bring in new ideas and suggestions to increase service delivery. You’ll also need to work with consideration for security at all times, so if you have experience in this area, we’d definitely be keen to talk to you.

The role is customer orientated, where your sense of urgency and your love in helping people out is paramount. Most of what you’re going to see are Windows (80%) and a little bit of Linux (20%), but they’re open to talking to people with slightly different backgrounds:

Core technical skills:

  • Strong experience administering a large Microsoft Windows desktop environment for a fast-paced business
  • Experience automating administration tasks using scripting languages – ideally Powershell and Python
  • Experience with Ansible and SCCM is a strong plus
  • Experience of managing office facilities and building Management Systems is a plus
