We are currently partnered with a leading cyber-security organisation in Surrey that is looking for a DevOps Engineer to join their existing operations team. 

This would be a fantastic opportunity for candidates who have a strong background in Linux Systems Engineering with a passion for automation.  Automation is a fundamental part of this role, meaning extensive experience working with configuration management tools is required. This company is using Puppet in production, however, is open to candidates who have also worked with Chef or Ansible. 

From day one you will be working in a DevOps environment, being fully emerged in Agile projects and working towards continuous delivery and continuous integration pipelines, bridging the gap between development and operations.  

Your main responsibilities will be to support the infrastructure in the development, test, staging and production environments, meaning your role will be covering all bases in a challenging but exhilarating manner. 

You will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies including KVM, Puppet, Jenkins, AWS in order to deliver web-based applications from private infrastructure and the cloud. 

Candidates who have a firm understanding of networking and security principles - this opportunity will be a fantastic match for you as due to the nature of the business you will be responsible for patch management and access control and you will be working with networking equipment including switches, load balancers, and firewalls.
